Barragán Guide (Editorial coordination) Mexico City, Arquine , 2003

This guide dedicated to Mexico’s greatest architect of the 20th century, proposes a tour of Luis Barragan’s creations, edited in chronological sequence. Setting off from Guadalajara, where Barragan started out as an architect in the 1920s, the guide then moves on to his work in Mexico City and ends up in Monterrey to look at his final projects. The itinerary enables us to grasp the development of his art and to contemplate the places where he located his work, its history and its transformations. This second edition contains maps, plans, and detailed descriptions, as well as new photographs and an expanded bibliography.
