Vladimir Kaspé. La búsqueda de un todo arquitectónico Mexico, Arquine , 2016

Vladimir Kaspé belonged to the last generation educated in the classical academy and proposed a revolution in language. This allowed him to understand that modernity was not something temporary, nor necessarily a break with tradition, but a need to adapt to the fast times that were to come. Kaspé coincided in Mexico with the brilliant generation of architects of the mid-twentieth century and with other exiles in Mexico. Invited by Mario Pani, first to be correspondent of his architecture magazine to later become the main editor, he developed an intellectual and project work of fundamental relevance for Mexican architecture. Kaspé affirmed that architecture can not dispense with its past nor disdain its immediate needs. The architectural creation, he thought, should be based on the balance of the multiplicity of factors that compose it.
