The house is presented as fertile ground for architectural experimentation: a space for innovation where technical solutions, aesthetic alternatives and new ways of inhabiting are explored. AV Monografías 276 brings together sixteen projects—among them Casa 720° by Fernanda Canales—built in diverse geographical and cultural contexts and organised around four fundamental materials: wood, earth, concrete and metal. Their combination expands the expressive and constructive possibilities of each project. From the vernacular to the experimental, from the alpine cabin to the urban dwelling, these houses demonstrate how material becomes a narrative tool, capable of engaging with context, climate and landscape.
